Celebration recognizes drinking water’s critical role in our daily lives.
Jones & Henry Engineers proudly joins communities across the United States in celebrating annual Drinking Water Week, May 4-10, 2025. Led by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) for over 40 years, the week-long celebration has increased public understanding of water systems and the vital role of safe drinking water.
Around the country, water utilities, government agencies, communities, schools, and AWWA chapters are holding activities to educate consumers about the science behind tap water and the dedication of water professionals who ensure its safety and reliability.
Jones & Henry Engineers recognizes that high-quality drinking water is essential for public health, overall community well-being, and economic growth. Safe water supports businesses and institutions, strengthens schools and healthcare systems, and enhances quality of life.
Water utilities often make headlines during challenging situations. However, the Drinking Water Week observance offers a platform to showcase safe drinking water and the positive contributions of well-maintained water systems, while emphasizing the science behind water treatment.
For nearly 100 years, Jones & Henry has developed resource protection programs tailored to each community’s needs and capabilities. We perform alternative source studies, hydrogeologic studies, multi-source investigations, raw water conveyance studies, reservoir siting and design, resource evaluation and development, supply augmentation evaluations, and yield analyses.
From conception through completion, Jones & Henry provides the services needed for one of our most vital assets: drinking water.
