
Recognition highlights Aaron’s exceptional contributions to Michigan’s water and wastewater infrastructure.
At its 101st Annual Conference this week, the Michigan Water Environment Association (MWEA) honored Jones & Henry’s Aaron Davenport, PE, as its 2026 Outstanding Environmental Consultant. The award celebrates an environmental consulting professional who exemplifies extraordinary dedication to their employer and the MWEA, showcases professional excellence, and actively champions the field of water environment.
Aaron, our Senior Vice President and Kalamazoo Office Director, was recognized for his inspiring leadership, deep expertise in municipal engineering, and his commitment to enhancing water and wastewater infrastructure across Michigan. He has been a driving force behind groundbreaking regional utility projects, including Kalamazoo’s Tertiary Treatment Improvements project.
“I am honored to be this year’s Michigan Water Environment Association Outstanding Environmental Consultant,” says Aaron. “Ours is a line of work that you don’t do for recognition. We do this because serving the public and protecting the environment is a passion.”
During the conference, Aaron generously shared his insights in an engaging presentation titled, “Creating the Largest Disc. Filter Facility in North America – Kalamazoo’s Tertiary Treatment Upgrade.”
